It is never too early to start investing towards the future - many a successful investor as a matter of fact, regret wasting their money on trivial things rather than investing earlier.

The great news nowadays is that you don’t even have to be a stock market whizz or portfolio management guru to do so successfully.

Investing today does not have to be limited to into large portfolios like in property, major shares or a mutual fund – although if you are Bruce Wayne or Lex Luthor, or just a real-life Elon Musk you’d tend to dabble in all and constantly look for new ways to invest.

For the average non-superhero or ‘non-trust fund baby’ looking to start out a career, or about to use some hard-earned savings to do a gap year before delving into the working world, it might pay off a little to make some of that money work for you.

OriginalSteps.com has a few tips on how.

It’s not just about the field of play...

Mobility is a word that can be applied to the areas of business, careers, education, travel, finance, social development and global markets. Rugby on the other hand, is a singular entity relating to a game of speed, athleticism, power and agility which is built on an international platform - thus proving itself to being the quintessential sporting example of global mobility in action.

OriginalSteps.com spoke with two leading drivers of the sport: DHL and the Stellenbosch Rugby Academy,  about how the concept of mobility is shaping this global game.

"Duolingo's mission is to make language education free and accessible to all." - Michaela Kron of Duolingo.

Duolingo's Michaela Kron spoke to the OriginalSteps.com team about the inner workings of this leading language application.

Duolingo was co-founded in 2011 by entrepreneur and computer science, professor Luis von Ahn, known for having invented CAPTCHA and reCAPTCHA, earning the MacArthur Genius grant, and giving a popular TED talk.

After selling two companies to Google in his twenties, Luis decided to dedicate his life to reducing educational inequity through technology. Inspired by his upbringing in Guatemala, Luis knew that while learning English could double one's income potential, high-quality language education was expensive and inaccessible to those who needed it most. His mission became making language education free and accessible to everyone in the world, so he started Duolingo.

A normal persona is just as necessary for every superhero as the cause to which to stand up and fight for. Captain Marvel it seems has a persona that is rather extraordinary than one that blends into "normal" life.

Carol Danvers is an intelligence agent by trade and has worked in a whole bunch of security positions including that of NASA. In a career juxtaposition of note - she has also been a magazine editor and a freelance writer. These titles and positions seem better suited to form the pathway for a great spy novel and movie!

However when she isn’t being a professional spy or writing a feature she is known as Captain Marvel.
