A FirstStep.me feature,

Superheros, spies and galaxy adventures seem to be dominating the planet's viewership! But online streaming is breaking borders with Netflix making massive inroads into the market.

Whilst the world seems broken, Hollywood, movie and television makers are still churning out the proverbial imagination into reality.

It has been a while since a hard hitting magical movie that changed perceptions and broke borders has lead at the Box Office. Sure there are charming and edgy films out there which draw an audience, but it seems it will be a while before we see a film like All the Presidents Men draw a crowd as a big as the Avengers: Age of Ultron.

There is no better example than sport of how to move forward after a hard knock. From poor exam results to bad career choices, challenges no matter how big or small will tend to surprise even the most prepared of individuals. Just as the South African Springboks lost to Japan in the 2015 World Cup, they still pulled themselves back as champion contenders in world rugby, an example for individuals who need to plan their future in case they do fail...

FirstStep.me spoke to Alie Brand of Stellenbosch Rugby Academy about how aspects of sport can be used to counter failure.

A FirstStep.me feature:

When John Nash, famously portrayed by Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind, died in a car crash in May 2015, there was a shiver that began to ripple around the world. A shiver that turned into a cold chill. A coldness that showed the cracks and slowly the world began to break into pieces.

The world is broken and there is no John Nash to fix it with a master equation. As a population we have a lot of work to do to fix it. So let’s get to it shall we!

With over a trillion Dollars worth of student debt in the USA plus a global youth unemployment rate of 73 million individuals (ref. International Labour Organization). Wait that's a big equation, one of the world’s largest economies is riddled with student debt and the worlds youth are struggling to be employed.
