Quantity Surveyor: Brick counters…we think not!
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be required to work out the quantity of work and materials needed for a specific job. You may often find yourself in steel-toed boots and a hard hat working out the correct quantity of materials needed for the construction of buildings and other large-scale developments. Anything from the number of bricks to bags of cement will be needed to be estimated by you to ensure that the progress of a project moves on smoothly.
