Q: I want to become an accountant, what is needed for me to pursue this option?

A: In order to qualify as an ACCA member, you will need to complete:
• 14 exams (nine of which are eligible for exemption);
• relevant practical experience, with a minimum of three years; and
• a Professional Ethics module.

Why choose ACCA?

Flexibility:
Exams are held twice a year, in June and December and this gives you the opportunity to pace your studies and career progression.

International passport:
Would you like to work abroad? The ACCA qualifications are well respected worldwide by employers, governments and the profession.

No artificial barriers to entry:
You do not need to go to University to study to become a professional accountant. Flexible study is available and allows you to take control of how and where you study. You can choose to study at a tuition provider, on your own or via distance learning.

Minimum entry requirements:
You don’t need a degree or diploma to register with ACCA - nor is it necessary to have studied Accountancy as a High School subject. Bring us your Matric exemption and we will help you register.

Tailored for you:
The qualification is designed to be relevant both globally and in the country where you live and work.
